Our Installation Process
1. Check Eligibilty
First we need to check what type of installation your property requires. 6 simple questions about your property, location of the meters and charger type will help to determine if your installation is standard or bespoke. You will receive an instant answer if your install is standard, for a complex bespoke installation then don’t worry. You will be directed to a simple form so we can gather a little more information, then one of team will then give you a call to go through the process step by step.
2. Choose your Charger
If your install is standard, you will be given the option to progress and choose your charger. We have a small number of chargers but our range comes from 2 top UK manufacturers with top ratings. Use our comparison chart to see which charger meets your requirements.
3. Confirmation of Purchase
Once you confirm your purchase you will receive a series of emails:
1. Confirmation of payment / invoice - all the details of your chosen charger, payment method and personal details including delivery address.
2. Image upload and select install date - we will ask for a few photos of your electricity & gas meters along with a photo of where you would like your charger to be fitted on your property.
3. Meet your installer - we will send a profile of your installer, including photo, for added piece of mind.
4. Delivery of your Charger
Your charger kit will arrive at your installation address prior to your install date. You will receive tracking information to follow your chargers journey.
Your kit consists of everything needed by your engineer to carry out the installation, we supply the charger ,consumer unit and all cables and fixings ready for the agreed installation date.
Instructions of how to download the charger app is also included on the delivery. Please ensure you download the app prior to your install day.

5. Installation Day
Your engineer will arrive on the agreed date of your installation, standard installations will take 2 hours to complete, the Bespoke installation will take a little longer based upon your individual needs. Please remember to have your specific Charger app downloaded along with the Charger customer account already set up ready to to go prior to your install day. Without this our engineers cannot complete your installation and give you some on-site training before they leave.
6. Customer Care
Your installation is guaranteed for a 12 month period, both of our chargers are also supported by the equipment manufacture warranty details are available here on our site. Once your install is complete you must register your product with the specific charger manufacture.
